This feature gives it a natural advantage when inspecting small precision parts. In the semiconductor chip packaging inspection, due to the small size and compact structure of the chip, 14X zoom lens can focus on the chip surface at a closer distance to capture the solder joints, wiring and other key areas of the small defects, and do not need to worry about the distance caused by the blurred image. However, the shorter working distance in the detection of large or fragile workpiece limitations, the relatively long working distance of the traditional lens to avoid collision between the lens and the workpiece, suitable for the operation of the space requirements of the higher inspection scenarios.

 

 

 

In terms of depth of field control and imaging details, they also have their own advantages and disadvantages. The traditional 0.7X-4.5X lens has a large depth of field at low magnification, which is suitable for rapid scanning and detection of macroscopic defects on the surface of large parts; however, at high magnification, the depth of field becomes shallow, which makes it difficult to take into account the multi-layer structure of the clear imaging. 14X zoom lens is shallow at high magnification, but through the optimization of the design, it can better balance the magnification and depth of field when detecting the three-dimensional structure of the workpiece such as the circuit board multi-layer circuit, precision mold complex cavity, etc. The optimized design can better balance the magnification and the depth of field, reduce the inspection omission caused by the lack of depth of field, and improve the accuracy of inspection.

 

 

 

14X zoom lens and the traditional 0.7X-4.5X lens in the field of industrial inspection, each has its own strengths. 14X zoom lens with wider optical magnification, shorter working distance and excellent high-magnification imaging ability, in the high-end precision inspection scenarios to occupy the advantage; traditional lenses with a long working distance and low magnification and large depth of field, play an important role in the routine industrial inspection.
