(A)Appearance Defect Detection
1. Surface defects: including scratches, pits, bubbles, burrs and so on. Bottle cap in the injection molding or stamping process, mold wear, raw material impurities and other factors are likely to lead to such defects on the surface, affecting the product aesthetics and sealing.
2. Printing quality: check the surface of the bottle cap text, patterns, bar codes and other printed content is clear and complete, there is no ghosting, omission, off-color and other issues to ensure that the brand information is accurately conveyed.
3. Color consistency: the same batch of bottle caps should be uniform in color to avoid color difference affecting the overall image of the product and consumer buying experience.
(B)Dimensional Accuracy Inspection
Diameter and height: the inner diameter, outer diameter and height of the cap should be in accordance with the design standard to ensure that it is suitable for the bottle mouth to prevent poor sealing or failure to tighten properly.
Thread inspection: the pitch, angle and depth of the thread should be accurate to ensure that the cap and bottle mouth thread can bite smoothly to prevent loosening and leakage during transportation.
Bottle cap testing difficulties
1. High-speed production environment of the detection efficiency: modern cap production line speed is extremely fast, up to hundreds or even thousands per minute, the inspection equipment needs to complete a number of inspection tasks in a very short period of time, the detection speed and real-time requirements are extremely high.
2. Identification of small defects: some defects such as fine scratches, shallow pits and other small size, the naked eye is difficult to distinguish, the detection equipment needs to have a high resolution and accurate identification capabilities, to avoid leakage.
3. Complex background interference: the surface of the cap may have reflections, texture and other complexities, the detection process is prone to image interference, affecting the accuracy of defects and size detection.
4. Compatibility of different specifications of the bottle cap: enterprises usually produce a variety of specifications of the bottle cap, inspection equipment needs to be able to flexibly adapt to different sizes, shapes and inspection requirements, to avoid frequent replacement of equipment or debugging parameters.
