Grating technology is an advanced technology based on the principle of optics, which mainly involves grating, an optical device consisting of a large number of parallel slits of equal width and equal spacing.
The principle of operation of a light grating is based primarily on the principle of multi-seam diffraction, which causes light to be dispersed (broken down into a spectrum). When monochromatic parallel light passes through each slit of a grating, diffraction occurs, and at the same time the light between the slits interferes, forming a pattern with wide dark stripes and thin bright stripes, and these bright stripes are called spectral lines. The position of the spectral lines varies with the wavelength, so after the complex color light passes through the grating, the spectral lines of different wavelengths will appear in different positions to form a spectrum.
Industrial automation and production line safety: In industries such as machine building, new energy, photovoltaics, lithium-ion, and automotive manufacturing, light barriers are used to monitor and protect line workers from collisions with high-speed machines.
Robot operation: In robot operation areas, optical encoders are used to ensure that robots work in a safe operating environment while protecting those around them.
Displacement, Velocity and Surface Profile Measurement: Optical encoder sensors are used to measure linear displacement, angular displacement, velocity, acceleration and surface profile of objects and have important applications in the machine industry, motion control and automation.
